Future US has announced a new series of awards for the videogame industry that will debut at the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) held in Los Angeles from June 7-9. For the new Most Valuable Game Awards, powered by Future, editors from four of our highly-regarded media properties will seek video games that provide the highest levels of game play, awarding multiple honors to videogame developers and publishers. The new series of awards include:
Featuring a highly inclusive judging process and multiple opportunities to submit games for consideration, the Most Valuable Game Awards powered by Future are designed to cast a wide net in searching for award entries.
To enter the competition, game developers and publishers can demonstrate video games to each publication’s editorial staff during the pre-E3 awards judging week starting Monday, May 16 in Los Angeles. Judges will review and select 10 winners from each publication and 15 from GamesRadar.com following this round of review. For those video game publishers that can’t make it early to Los Angeles, editors will be reviewing video games on the first day of the show. Five additional winners from each publication and 10 from GamesRadar.com will be chosen andannounced on Tuesday, June 7 the first day the E3 exhibit floor is open.
